Spectators: 7543 (Terracing: 5659, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Damien Blackhurst kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ted Peakman in the 9th minute of play forced Oława City United's goalkeeper Leroy Proctor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oława City United's Damien Blackhurst got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leroy Proctor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ted Peakman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Staveley AFC's Ted Peakman in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Oława City United's goalie prevented a goal. Oława City United's Leroy Proctor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Allwright in the 20th minute of play. Leroy Proctor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ted Peakman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute, Ted Peakman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Oława City United's zone, John Allwright stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leroy Proctor came out of the goal and John Allwright tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35th match minute, Staveley AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Garth Platt to maneuver through the defense. Oława City United's Joel Blueman shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 37th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jerome Barber but with some difficulty. Leroy Proctor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ted Peakman in the 41st minute of play. A collision led to Staveley AFC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Ted Peakman hit a great ball.

The wind increased when John Allwright made the kick off in the second half. Oława City United's Leroy Proctor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Oława City United from getting a goal against them. If Ted Peakman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ted Peakman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Leroy Proctor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brett Greaves charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brett Greaves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Brett Greaves kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Leroy Proctor was a little too slow when John Allwright got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 0-1. After 65 minutes, John Allwright mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Staveley AFC and the Oława City United players grew even worse after the yellow card. John Allwright kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Oława City United's goalkeeper Leroy Proctor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ted Peakman. Leroy Proctor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Allwright, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Leroy Proctor made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Ted Peakman sent off a good shot on target. Ted Peakman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Leroy Proctor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vincent Burrows shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers John Allwright in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leroy Proctor saved Oława City United from getting behind. Ted Peakman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Oława City United defense, Ted Peakman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leroy Proctor. The Oława City United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leroy Proctor should have stopped the shot. After having played for 96 minutes, John Allwright managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Staveley AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but John Allwright was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oława City United's Leroy Proctor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Allwright in the 98th minute of play. Staveley AFC played a much better game than Oława City United and deserved their victory. The Oława City United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
