Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Glen Rawson kicked off to start the match. With a little luck, LKS Strumien's Rob Homes got control of the ball when Kris McGrath tried to sneak it across the goal line. 6 minutes into the game, LKS Strumien's Glen Rawson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joel Silk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 16th minute, Glen Rawson made a precise shot to the right of Joel Silk. Mitch FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Joel Silk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christopher Bourne, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Glen Rawson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Glen Rawson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Glen Rawson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Christopher Bourne left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LKS Strumien fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Joel Silk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Glen Rawson in the 45th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lance Bennett during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tristan Burbeary was the one to do the kick off. Joel Silk made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Glen Rawson sent off a good shot on target. If Glen Rawson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joel Silk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christopher Bourne in the 56th minute of play. Mitch FC's Joel Silk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christopher Bourne in the 59th minute of play. Christopher Bourne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to LKS Strumien getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Kieran Fields hit a great ball. In the 70th minute, Mitch FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Christopher Bourne fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Rob Homes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kris McGrath in the 76th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lance Crawshaw during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to LKS Strumien getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Lance Crawshaw hit a great ball. After some careless play in the LKS Strumien defense, Tristan Burbeary kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rob Homes. The LKS Strumien fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rob Homes should have stopped the shot. Christopher Bourne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Joel Silk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Vance Way fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LKS Strumien's protests and gave Vance Way a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to LKS Strumien getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Vance Way hit a great ball. Christopher Bourne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Joel Silk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tristan Burbeary in the 94th minute of play forced LKS Strumien's goalkeeper Rob Homes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. LKS Strumien's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
