Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jack Hay kicked off to start the match. Eddie Henman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pete Monk in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute, Pete Monk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Francis Collins's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chip Byfield read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Pete Monk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Eddie Henman made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jack Hay in the 31st minute of play forced Jagiellonia's goalkeeper Eddie Henman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chip Byfield took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeo Turk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jack Hay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Pete Monk came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Barnoldswick FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pete Monk couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Barnoldswick FC's Jack Hay slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eddie Henman. That made the score 1-0 after 43 minutes of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

54 minutes into the game, Pete Monk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Eddie Henman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Francis Collins struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Chip Byfield didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jagiellonia. Pete Monk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddie Henman having to interfere. Eddie Henman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jack Hay, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Jack Hay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jack Hay in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eddie Henman saved Jagiellonia from getting behind. Jagiellonia's Eddie Henman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pete Monk in the 74th minute of play. Gaz Bedford's late challenge caught a Barnoldswick FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaz Bedford helped the player get up and apologised. Eddie Henman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jack Hay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Jack Hay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eddie Henman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jack Hay in the 89th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pete Monk in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eddie Henman saved Jagiellonia from getting behind. In the 92nd minute, Martin Jennings hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eddie Henman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jack Hay, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
