Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Chaz Murtagh started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Dennis Broom managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blofield's supporters rose to their feet, but Dennis Broom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eddie Henman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chaz Murtagh hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. If Jim Webster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Eddie Henman managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Blofield's Jim Webster fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience was convinced that Chaz Murtagh's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eddie Henman was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Eddie Henman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jim Webster in the 13th minute. Doug Haugue showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Turk in the 16th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Blofield's Jake Kendall ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eddie Henman. Eddie Henman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 23rd minute Jake Kendall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddie Henman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Doug Haugue made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francis Collins in the 27th minute of play. Chaz Murtagh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eddie Henman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jim Webster in the 30th minute. With his leg Eddie Henman managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Blofield's Jim Webster fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 35th minute Chaz Murtagh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddie Henman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute of the match, Jake Kendall tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eddie Henman saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Chaz Murtagh fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Blofield's protests and gave Chaz Murtagh a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Jagiellonia booed when Blofield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chaz Murtagh didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute Romeo Turk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doug Haugue saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Blofield fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when Blofield's Jake Kendall looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

In the 55th minute, Wally Drake got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Jake Kendall had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eddie Henman. Jagiellonia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jake Kendall was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vance Smikle in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eddie Henman saved Jagiellonia from getting behind. If Chaz Murtagh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the game, Dion Nicholls cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Eddie Henman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eddie Henman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis Broom in the 73rd minute of play. If Jim Webster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dennis Broom scored 5-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eddie Henman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Blofield booed when Jagiellonia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wally Drake didn't get a good kick on the ball. Doug Haugue made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Francis Collins sent off a good shot on target. If Jim Webster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eddie Henman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chaz Murtagh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wally Drake during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Jagiellonia getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Wally Drake hit a great ball. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by Jagiellonia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Chaz Murtagh was slow to take the kick. During this time Blofield's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Chaz Murtagh almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Jagiellonia's Eddie Henman did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in Jagiellonia's zone, Dennis Broom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eddie Henman came out of the goal and Dennis Broom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Blofield fully deserved thier win.
