In the 17th minute, Rod Wakefield hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ken Beckford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tyler Flower in the 22nd minute of play. Sporting Díjon's Ken Beckford proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Díjon from getting a goal against them. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Seth Gillow made a kick off. When Seth Gillow came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Sporting Díjon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Seth Gillow couldn't finish the play.
