With a little luck, Studley AFC's Byron Armstrong got control of the ball when Freddie Fitzsymon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vic Rain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Stuart Ferdinand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Vic Rain ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stuart Ferdinand was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A hard shot 17 in the game by Freddie Fitzsymon from a close distance when the talented Byron Armstrong managed to make a qualified save. Studley AFC's players were relieved. 19 minutes into the match, Freddie Fitzsymon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Byron Armstrong. Studley AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Freddie Fitzsymon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. A collision led to Studley AFC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Geoff Nancy hit a great ball. In the 24th minute of the match Tony Bibby sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Byron Armstrong skillfully saved the ball. 29 minutes into the game, Stew Jobling was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oskar FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Studley AFC the free kick. The supporters of Studley AFC booed when Oskar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stew Jobling didn't get a good kick on the ball. Trev Wills scored 1-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stuart Ferdinand, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Byron Armstrong was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Freddie Fitzsymon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 37 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Bobby Lobb managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oskar FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bobby Lobb was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Byron Armstrong breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 46 minutes into the match, Studley AFC's goalkeeper Byron Armstrong had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Freddie Fitzsymon. Bobby Lobb's late challenge caught a Studley AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bobby Lobb helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Oskar FC's Bobby Lobb got a free kick in the 48th minute.

53 minutes into the match, Trev Wills dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Stuart Ferdinand, 2-3. If Bobby Lobb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rupert Dingle charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rupert Dingle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 58th minute, Rupert Dingle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Freddie Fitzsymon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Freddie Fitzsymon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oskar FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Freddie Fitzsymon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Byron Armstrong breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 71 minutes into the game, Oskar FC's Bobby Lobb nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Byron Armstrong made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. Byron Armstrong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddie Fitzsymon in the 76th minute of the match. Studley AFC's Byron Armstrong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bobby Lobb in the 83rd minute of play. Byron Armstrong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddie Fitzsymon, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. If Bobby Lobb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
