Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bobby Lobb kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Oskar FC's zone, Damian Salmon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stuart Ferdinand came out of the goal and Damian Salmon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Hove FC's Marty Howden got a free kick in the 10th minute. Oskar FC's Tony Bibby couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 11th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Hove FC. Mitch Mallaby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bobby Lobb in the 12th minute of the match. With a little luck, Hove FC's Mitch Mallaby got control of the ball when Freddie Fitzsymon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mick Hartley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Stuart Ferdinand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute Charles Pearch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stuart Ferdinand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd match minute, Oskar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony Bibby to maneuver through the defense. Mitch Mallaby didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Oskar FC's Bobby Lobb shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Hove FC's Max Sledge pulled a muscle in his back after 28 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 28 minutes into the game, Neil Whitford was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oskar FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hove FC the free kick. 30 minutes into the match, Damian Salmon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stuart Ferdinand. Oskar FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damian Salmon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Damian Salmon scored 1-2 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stuart Ferdinand, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hove FC's Damian Salmon got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 46 played minutes Oskar FC got a freekick which was hit by CJ Willets. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

After a rather tough play, Hove FC's Barrie Brent got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Mitch Mallaby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddie Fitzsymon in the 55th minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Freddie Fitzsymon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bobby Lobb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Mitch Mallaby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Damian Salmon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Hove FC booed when Oskar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Howard Haines didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Damian Salmon came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Hove FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damian Salmon couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Oskar FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Stew Jobling hit a great ball. Hove FC's Damian Salmon got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bobby Lobb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Mitch Mallaby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mitch Mallaby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bobby Lobb, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Mitch Mallaby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bobby Lobb in the 85th minute of the match. Mitch Mallaby took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddie Fitzsymon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mitch Mallaby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bobby Lobb in the 91st minute of play. Damian Salmon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Freddie Fitzsymon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hove FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
