Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) John Paul Mitchell-King started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Dominic Duke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bulwell AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dominic Duke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lance Lowndes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rodney Slator succeeded in the game's 8th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Dominic Duke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bulwell AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dominic Duke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lance Lowndes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 19th minute, Eric Howson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the match, Bulwell AFC's Rodney Slator sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lance Lowndes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in FC Targowa's zone, Rodney Slator stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lance Lowndes came out of the goal and Rodney Slator tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jools Cardwell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Paul Mitchell-King in the 29th minute of play. Rodney Slator received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Lance Lowndes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rodney Slator had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eric Howson charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eric Howson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 39th match minute, FC Targowa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Howson to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodney Slator in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lance Lowndes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Dominic Duke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd match minute, FC Targowa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ash Nightingale to maneuver through the defense. Dominic Duke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lance Lowndes having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Rodney Slator made the kick off in the second half. Lance Lowndes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodney Slator in the 56th minute of play. Dominic Duke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Lance Lowndes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68thth minute of the game Rodney Slator who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Targowa's Lance Lowndes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rodney Clist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Jools Cardwell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frazer Preston's late challenge caught a FC Targowa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frazer Preston helped the player get up and apologised. The goalkeeper, Jools Cardwell, was totally fooled by FC Targowa's Tommy Reeve, who 76 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 80th minute Rodney Slator shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lance Lowndes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Targowa fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 82nd minute. Penalty! Lance Lowndes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dominic Duke in the 87th minute of the match. In the 91st minute Rodney Slator shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lance Lowndes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lance Lowndes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodney Slator, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 98 minutes into the match, FC Targowa's goal looked a bit too open when Dominic Duke came free, but Lance Lowndes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Targowa's Jay Longstaff got a free kick in the 101st minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Bulwell AFC had played much better football throughout.
