Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The corner ended in Wesley Charles almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Running Ducks's Wes Meade did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ray Dudgeon in the 10th minute of play forced Paybridge Celtic's goalkeeper Lewis Winstanley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lewis Winstanley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralf Hirst, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Lewis Winstanley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ray Dudgeon in the 15th minute of play. Hugh Ellerby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th match minute, Running Ducks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Turner to maneuver through the defense. Dennis Turner hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. If Roy Dwyer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Running Ducks defense, Roy Dwyer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wes Meade. The Running Ducks fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wes Meade should have stopped the shot. When Dane Lomas fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Running Ducks's protests and gave Dane Lomas a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Paybridge Celtic booed when Running Ducks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dane Lomas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paybridge Celtic's Roy Dwyer couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Running Ducks. With his leg Wes Meade managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Paybridge Celtic's Camron Maylett fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Hugh Ellerby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 1-1 became the score in the 43rd minute when Ray Dudgeon elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Camron Maylett stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes Running Ducks's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roy Dwyer who took care of the corner kick. Paybridge Celtic's Hugh Ellerby was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Wes Meade in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Wes Meade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camron Maylett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the match, Camron Maylett notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Running Ducks's Wes Meade. Wes Meade was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wes Meade stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Camron Maylett's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. 69 minutes into the game, Paybridge Celtic's Roy Dwyer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wes Meade made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Ralf Hirst could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Lewis Winstanley made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Camron Maylett in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wes Meade saved Running Ducks from getting behind. 78 minutes into the match, Ralf Hirst notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Paybridge Celtic's Lewis Winstanley. Lewis Winstanley was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 83rdth minute of the game Camron Maylett who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Running Ducks's Wes Meade was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paybridge Celtic's Lewis Winstanley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Paybridge Celtic from getting a goal against them. Camron Maylett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wes Meade having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Running Ducks's goal looked a bit too open when Roy Dwyer came free, but Wes Meade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 98th minute Roy Dwyer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wes Meade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
