Chaz Downs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rod Hunt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When French Toast Mafia's Rod Hunt in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But to his dismay, Matthew Stamp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 33rd match minute, sunderland afc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Seth Webster to maneuver through the defense. When Matthew Stamp came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the sunderland afc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matthew Stamp couldn't finish the play. In the 37th match minute, French Toast Mafia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Bowler to maneuver through the defense. The sunderland afc fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when sunderland afc's Matthew Stamp looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The French Toast Mafia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. sunderland afc were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rod Hunt to make the kick off. sunderland afc's Chaz Downs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rod Hunt in the 53rd minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, sunderland afc's Matthew Stamp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Piers Partridge narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Piers Partridge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jake Lambert in the 64th minute of play. Matthew Stamp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Piers Partridge having to interfere. Cliff Perryman kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Jake Lambert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Piers Partridge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 76 minutes, Rod Hunt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. French Toast Mafia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rod Hunt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 78 minutes into the game, Deon Lilley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. sunderland afc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave French Toast Mafia the free kick. Deon Lilley hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. If Matthew Stamp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 89 minutes, Jake Lambert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. sunderland afc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jake Lambert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 90thth minute of the game Jake Lambert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but French Toast Mafia's Piers Partridge was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Matthew Stamp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 98th match minute, French Toast Mafia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kirk Kerfoot to maneuver through the defense. Barrie Dobson missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 100 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Piers Partridge right hand side. When the final whistle sounded sunderland afc left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than French Toast Mafia.
