John Paul Dobson hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After 12 minutes, Rupert Barton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Annscroft AFC and the Piwkol FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Annscroft AFC's Rupert Barton got a free kick in the 12th minute. Conal Lydiate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johnathon Jenkinson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Buster Beard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Austen Byrne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Goodwick, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 26th match minute, Annscroft AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marek Herring to maneuver through the defense. Piwkol FC's Buster Beard proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Piwkol FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Piwkol FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. John Paul Dobson hit a great ball. In the 36th minute, Gaz Frost sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Piwkol FC's Buster Beard didn't even have to move. Piwkol FC's Buster Beard proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Piwkol FC from getting a goal against them. Piwkol FC's Buster Beard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marek Herring in the 40th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Annscroft AFC's Marek Herring dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Conal Lydiate to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 67 minutes, Marek Herring managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Annscroft AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marek Herring was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Piwkol FC's Buster Beard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johnathon Jenkinson in the 68th minute of play. Buster Beard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marek Herring, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute, Bradley Harkness hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vincent Langley during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79th minute, Marek Herring ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Buster Beard was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. When John Paul Dobson fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Piwkol FC's protests and gave John Paul Dobson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Annscroft AFC booed when Piwkol FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. John Paul Dobson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Piwkol FC's Buster Beard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johnathon Jenkinson in the 87th minute of play. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Marek Herring sped through Piwkol FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Buster Beard. Piwkol FC's Buster Beard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Mabbutt in the 93rd minute of play. Marek Herring succeeded in the game's 94th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Annscroft AFC fully deserved thier win.
