Spectators: 7373 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) Guy Munday started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Kristopher Golding came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Huntingdon United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kristopher Golding couldn't finish the play. In the 4th minute, Guy Munday ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Denzil Brady was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a rather tough play, Pig FC's Greg Rundle got a free kick in the 8th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Huntingdon United's Guy Munday sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Denzil Brady narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Shane Sheldon during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Pig FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Shane Sheldon hit a great ball. Nat Beadel was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 14th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Guy Munday scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Denzil Brady, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Jeffrey Adamson came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Pig FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeffrey Adamson couldn't finish the play. 31 minutes into the match, Huntingdon United's goal looked a bit too open when Jeffrey Adamson came free, but Orson Bridge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denzil Brady showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guy Munday in the 33rd minute of the match. Guy Munday sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Kristopher Golding managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huntingdon United's supporters rose to their feet, but Kristopher Golding was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denzil Brady breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Denzil Brady showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guy Munday, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeffrey Adamson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guy Munday got free with Denzil Brady in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Pig FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Geoff Gascoigne hit a great ball. When Nat Beadel came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Huntingdon United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nat Beadel couldn't finish the play. Denzil Brady made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guy Munday in the 59th minute of play. Jeffrey Adamson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Orson Bridge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guy Munday fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denzil Brady having to interfere. Kristopher Golding who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Denzil Brady when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guy Munday in the 68th minute of play forced Pig FC's goalkeeper Denzil Brady to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guy Munday struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Denzil Brady didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huntingdon United. When Guy Munday came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Huntingdon United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guy Munday couldn't finish the play. Kristopher Golding sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
