Spectators: 3718 (Terracing: 2000, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Craig Bambrook in the 4th minute of play forced Huntingdon United's goalkeeper Orson Bridge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 8 played minutes Burleyham got a freekick which was hit by Vince Dixon. Kristopher Golding might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ronny Woodhead. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kristopher Golding ran back to his position shaking his head. If Kristopher Golding had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, Burleyham's goalkeeper Ronny Woodhead had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kristopher Golding. Huntingdon United's Kristopher Golding got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vince Dixon kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Blair Zamora kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Nat Beadel sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Burleyham's Ronny Woodhead didn't even have to move. After 36 played minutes, Burleyham's Blair Zamora shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Orson Bridge came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Burleyham reached it. Orson Bridge came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Burleyham's Craig Bambrook. But to his dismay, Craig Bambrook quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Craig Bambrook had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Syd Ford to make the kick off. Kristopher Golding struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Ronny Woodhead didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huntingdon United. Sidney Rowe kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Craig Bambrook had several of the Huntingdon United's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 57 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Orson Bridge as he didn't even see the shot coming. 61 minutes into the match, Burleyham's goal looked a bit too open when Kristopher Golding came free, but Ronny Woodhead reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute, Craig Bambrook got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 65 minutes, Orson Bridge successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Huntingdon United's goalkeeper Orson Bridge, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Craig Bambrook got free with Orson Bridge in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kristopher Golding received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Ronny Woodhead tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kristopher Golding in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ronny Woodhead prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Guy Munday's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ronny Woodhead read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. If Craig Bambrook had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jon Plumber kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Ronny Woodhead took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristopher Golding, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guy Munday received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Ronny Woodhead tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the game, Burleyham's Syd Ford nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Orson Bridge made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. The Huntingdon United supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Burleyham's performance. The match ended with a win for Burleyham.
