Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Steven Button got the match started through his kick off. Jon Gayle kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Steven Button fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phillip Kerridge having to interfere. After some careless play in the FC Slovan Liberec defense, Denis Wiseman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Damian Robinson. The FC Slovan Liberec fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Damian Robinson should have stopped the shot. Damian Robinson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wayne Keane in the 16th minute of the match. After 20 played minutes, Thame's Dylan Lovett shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Damian Robinson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Thame reached it. Al Abbott fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phillip Kerridge having to interfere. Phillip Kerridge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steven Button in the 24th minute of play. Jon Gayle kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Thame's zone, Al Abbott stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Phillip Kerridge came out of the goal and Al Abbott tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 28 minutes into the match, Thame's goalkeeper Phillip Kerridge had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Al Abbott. Al Abbott recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th minute, Al Abbott got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Phillip Kerridge successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Des Thomson hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After 46 minutes, Wayne Keane mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Thame and the FC Slovan Liberec players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Thame's Wayne Keane got a free kick in the 46th minute. If Steven Button had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Denis Wiseman to strike the kick off in the second half. Phillip Kerridge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Al Abbott, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Al Abbott in the 59th minute of play forced Thame's goalkeeper Phillip Kerridge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Phillip Kerridge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Al Abbott in the 61st minute of play. After 66 played minutes FC Slovan Liberec got a freekick which was hit by Tristan Styles. After recieving a nice pass, Thame's Dean Longley tried to score from far away in the 67th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Phillip Kerridge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Al Abbott in the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Steven Button ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Phillip Kerridge was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 74 minutes into the match, FC Slovan Liberec's Steven Button sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Phillip Kerridge narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Denis Wiseman came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Thame fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denis Wiseman couldn't finish the play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
