Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Marek Folan got the match started through his kick off. Uffington's supporters crossed their fingers, but Philip Niven was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 8 minutes into the game, Marek Folan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Reuben Afful. Marek Folan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Marek Folan might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reuben Afful. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marek Folan ran back to his position shaking his head. Reuben Afful made an important save on a dangerous shot by Philip Niven in the 22nd minute. Marek Folan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Reuben Afful tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Wakefield FC's goalkeeper Reuben Afful had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Philip Niven. Colin Fry showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ray Peat in the 29th minute of the match. If Roger Holland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marek Folan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reuben Afful having to interfere. If Philip Niven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Philip Niven sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ray Peat to make the kick off. Reuben Afful came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Uffington's Marek Folan. But to his dismay, Marek Folan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The supporters of Uffington booed when Wakefield FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joe Trueman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute, James Ainsworth sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Wakefield FC's Reuben Afful didn't even have to move. James Ainsworth took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Reuben Afful. Wakefield FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Reuben Afful showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philip Niven, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Uffington's Marek Folan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reuben Afful narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Philip Niven managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uffington's supporters rose to their feet, but Philip Niven was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reuben Afful breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Marek Folan put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Reuben Afful. An unexpected shot in the 76th minute by Ray Peat got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 78th minute Marek Folan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reuben Afful saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Marek Folan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86thth minute of the game Philip Niven who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wakefield FC's Reuben Afful was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Uffington booed when Wakefield FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mick Clough didn't get a good kick on the ball. James Ainsworth was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 92nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Philip Niven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reuben Afful having to interfere. After having played for 95 minutes, Philip Niven managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
