Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marek Folan kicked off to start the match. The Blackburn City fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Blackburn City's Lance Goodall looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Marek Folan scored 1-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rupert Barrett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Philip Niven recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rupert Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marek Folan in the 17th minute of the match. Marek Folan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rupert Barrett read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. After 21 minutes of play, Blackburn City's Brynn Leslie made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Colin Fry was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rupert Barrett made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Philip Niven sent off a good shot on target. In the 30th match minute, Uffington was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brendon Silk to maneuver through the defense. If Brynn Leslie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marek Folan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rupert Barrett read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Blackburn City's Rupert Barrett proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Blackburn City from getting a goal against them. 42 minutes into the match, Philip Niven had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rupert Barrett. Blackburn City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Philip Niven was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Philip Niven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rupert Barrett having to interfere. Uffington's Marek Folan got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 57 played minutes Blackburn City got a freekick which was hit by Doug Stone. Marek Folan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rupert Barrett read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lance Goodall in the 63rd minute of play forced Uffington's goalkeeper Colin Fry to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rupert Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marek Folan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brynn Leslie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Lance Goodall kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Colin Fry. That made the score 2-3 in the 70 minute of play. If Brynn Leslie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uffington's Marek Folan got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marek Folan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rupert Barrett having to interfere. Gus Hanson charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gus Hanson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Uffington's Gus Hanson got a free kick in the 89th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Philip Niven in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rupert Barrett saved Blackburn City from getting behind. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Blackburn City's goalkeeper Rupert Barrett, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marek Folan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rupert Barrett having to interfere. Blackburn City's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
