Ed Pearce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marek Folan in the 16th minute of play. West Ham United FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Marek Folan scored to the left of an out of position Ed Pearce, making the score, 2-0. 22 minutes into the match, West Ham United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marek Folan came free, but Ed Pearce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Nick Dunning had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nick Dunning received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Colin Fry tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41stth minute of the game Marek Folan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but West Ham United FC's Ed Pearce was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 42 minutes into the game, Johnny Beverley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. West Ham United FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uffington the free kick. In the 43rd minute, Philip Niven left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uffington fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dom Philips made a kick off. Philip Niven received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Ed Pearce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ed Pearce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marek Folan, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After 59 played minutes West Ham United FC got a freekick which was hit by Billie Bakewell. If Philip Niven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marek Folan in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ed Pearce prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dom Philips received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Colin Fry tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Colin Fry showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dom Philips, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 75thth minute of the game Philip Niven who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but West Ham United FC's Ed Pearce was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ed Pearce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Scott Naylor in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute Marek Folan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ed Pearce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marek Folan in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ed Pearce saved West Ham United FC from getting behind. Marek Folan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in West Ham United FC's zone, Philip Niven stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ed Pearce came out of the goal and Philip Niven tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 97 minutes into the match, West Ham United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marek Folan came free, but Ed Pearce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Uffington had won after a very even match.
