Vance Hindmarsh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tyler Osbon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Duncan Whittingham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. CJ Dry in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jacob Hughes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Thame's Tyler Osbon got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thame's Stuart Gurney got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Thame booed when Southall was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johnny Brooks didn't get a good kick on the ball. Southall's Duncan Whittingham got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gez Rain charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gez Rain the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Thame's Gez Rain got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute, Gez Rain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for CJ Dry to strike the kick off in the second half. CJ Dry recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Duncan Whittingham struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Jacob Hughes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Southall. An unexpectedly hard shot by CJ Dry in the 57th minute of play forced Thame's goalkeeper Jacob Hughes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vance Hindmarsh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tyler Osbon in the 59th minute of play. Vance Hindmarsh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tyler Osbon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Thame's Vance Hindmarsh threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tyler Osbon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. CJ Dry blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacob Hughes having to make a save. Noel Nicoll kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. CJ Dry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Southall's Wesley Lydiate got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by CJ Dry in the 92nd minute of play forced Thame's goalkeeper Jacob Hughes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd match minute, Thame was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gez Rain to maneuver through the defense.
