Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After 10 played minutes ISLAHIYE got a freekick which was hit by Ed Strongman. Brynn Wiley made an important save on a dangerous shot by Syd Haper in the 13th minute. Brynn Wiley was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edward Cousins showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 14 minute of play. Brynn Wiley came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Horsham's Syd Haper. But to his dismay, Syd Haper quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 25 minutes into the match, Horsham's goal looked a bit too open when Damion Preece came free, but Brett Addison reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Edward Cousins's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brynn Wiley was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Cousins in the 28th minute of play forced ISLAHIYE's goalkeeper Brynn Wiley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Syd Haper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Syd Haper could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Brynn Wiley made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edward Cousins in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brynn Wiley saved ISLAHIYE from getting behind. When Edward Cousins came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Horsham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edward Cousins couldn't finish the play. Rich Townson's late challenge caught a ISLAHIYE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rich Townson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 39th minute, Rich Townson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 42 minutes, Alf Shepherd managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ISLAHIYE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alf Shepherd was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ed Strongman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Edward Cousins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ISLAHIYE's Brynn Wiley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 49th minute of the match, managed to save ISLAHIYE from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edward Cousins made a kick off. In the 56th minute, Damion Preece hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Syd Haper in the 57th minute of play forced ISLAHIYE's goalkeeper Brynn Wiley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edward Cousins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brynn Wiley having to interfere. Brynn Wiley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Cousins in the 62nd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Syd Haper sped through ISLAHIYE's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Brynn Wiley. In the 69th minute Edward Cousins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brynn Wiley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 70 played minutes Horsham got a freekick which was hit by Graeme Rocastle. If Alf Shepherd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the match, ISLAHIYE's goal looked a bit too open when Syd Haper came free, but Brynn Wiley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Syd Haper received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Brynn Wiley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Horsham's Victor Chadwick broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Brynn Wiley stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Syd Haper's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Edward Cousins sped through ISLAHIYE's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Brynn Wiley. In the 92nd minute Edward Cousins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brynn Wiley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brett Addison made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alf Shepherd in the 94th minute. Horsham's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
