Edward Cousins scored 0-2 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lance Burns, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Al Colman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brett Addison read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Manchester Unity FC! Lance Burns had in the 58thth minute some difficulties stopping Victor Chadwick's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball 58 minutes into the match, Victor Chadwick notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Manchester Unity FC's Lance Burns. Lance Burns was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edward Cousins showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 98 minute of play. The Manchester Unity FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Horsham were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
