An unexpectedly hard shot by Ed Strongman in the 10th minute of play forced Southall's goalkeeper Vance Hindmarsh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wesley Lydiate in the 12th minute of play forced ISLAHIYE's goalkeeper Brynn Wiley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brynn Wiley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from CJ Dry in the 13th minute of play. In the 15thth minute of the game CJ Dry who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ISLAHIYE's Brynn Wiley was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 18th minute, CJ Dry left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Southall fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. CJ Dry might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brynn Wiley. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. CJ Dry ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 23rd minute, Wesley Lydiate got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brynn Wiley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from CJ Dry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th match minute, ISLAHIYE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Bond to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the ISLAHIYE defense, CJ Dry kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brynn Wiley. The ISLAHIYE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brynn Wiley should have stopped the shot. 34 minutes into the game, Southall's CJ Dry nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brynn Wiley made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After having played for 37 minutes, Wesley Lydiate managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Southall's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wesley Lydiate was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40th minute, Johnny Brooks ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brynn Wiley was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. CJ Dry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Southall's Wesley Lydiate got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. CJ Dry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brynn Wiley having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Damion Preece made a kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match Sol Rowett shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vance Hindmarsh showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Vance Hindmarsh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damion Preece, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 63rd minute Damion Preece shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vance Hindmarsh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CJ Dry might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brynn Wiley. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. CJ Dry ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 67th minute, Toby Longley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wesley Lydiate fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brynn Wiley having to interfere. CJ Dry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CJ Dry scored 0-5 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brynn Wiley, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 87 minutes, Tim Patton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ISLAHIYE and the Southall players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Southall booed when ISLAHIYE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tim Patton didn't get a good kick on the ball. 96 minutes into the match, ISLAHIYE's goal looked a bit too open when Wesley Lydiate came free, but Brynn Wiley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Southall's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
