Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Brad Holdroyd started the match with the kick off. Brad Holdroyd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacob Hughes having to interfere. Tyler Osbon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Kasey Parslow tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kasey Parslow showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tyler Osbon in the 10th minute of the match. The supporters of Sutton on Sea City booed when Thame was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gez Rain didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Thame's Stuart Gurney nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kasey Parslow made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Tyler Osbon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Kasey Parslow tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stuart Gurney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stuart Gurney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kasey Parslow having to interfere. 31 minutes into the game, Thame's Tyler Osbon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kasey Parslow made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 34th match minute, Sutton on Sea City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chip Coates to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Tyler Osbon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kasey Parslow was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Kasey Parslow showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tyler Osbon, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Tyler Osbon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Kasey Parslow tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Chip Coates kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jacob Hughes. That made the score 1-2 in the 48 minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tyler Osbon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Sutton on Sea City's zone, Gez Rain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kasey Parslow came out of the goal and Gez Rain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tyler Osbon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kasey Parslow having to make a save. In the 56th match minute, Sutton on Sea City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Haley to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th play minute Stuart Gurney came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Kasey Parslow. 1-3. Thomas Haley charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thomas Haley the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Thame booed when Sutton on Sea City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Haley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thame's Sol Flemming shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 72nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Kasey Parslow but with some difficulty. In the 73rd minute, Stuart Gurney left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Thame fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sutton on Sea City's goalkeeper Kasey Parslow, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Zak Whitworth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, Sutton on Sea City's goalkeeper Kasey Parslow had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stuart Gurney. Kasey Parslow showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tyler Osbon, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. A hard shot 90 in the game by Stuart Gurney from a close distance when the talented Kasey Parslow managed to make a qualified save. Sutton on Sea City's players were relieved. Tyler Osbon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Kasey Parslow tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stuart Gurney could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Kasey Parslow made a huge save. Thomas Haley got his second yellow card in the match during the 96th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 97th match minute, Sutton on Sea City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Haley to maneuver through the defense. Stuart Gurney came free with the goalkeeper in the 98th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Kasey Parslow could save by the left post.
