Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gus Santos started the match with the kick off. Caleb Middleton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sly Dixon in the 9th minute of play forced Eltham's goalkeeper Rob Snowdon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Gus Santos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sacha Dlyan. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. Caleb Middleton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rob Snowdon having to interfere. In the 19th match minute, Helsby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sly Crtichell to maneuver through the defense. Garry Holland kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. If Jeff Ellis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 28th minute Gus Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sacha Dlyan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gus Santos in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sacha Dlyan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Jeff Ellis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eltham's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeff Ellis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sacha Dlyan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kieran Chandler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sacha Dlyan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gus Santos in the 41st minute of the match. Sacha Dlyan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gus Santos in the 43rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Helsby's Will Chiverton got a free kick in the 44th minute. Gus Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Sacha Dlyan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sly Dixon to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Kieran Chandler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eltham's supporters rose to their feet, but Kieran Chandler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sacha Dlyan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 52 minutes, Gus Santos made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Helsby's Sacha Dlyan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Rob Snowdon made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Sly Crtichell sent off a good shot on target. When Caleb Middleton came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Helsby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caleb Middleton couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Sly Dixon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Helsby's supporters rose to their feet, but Sly Dixon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rob Snowdon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 70th minute, Gus Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rob Snowdon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sly Dixon in the 75th minute of the match. Caleb Middleton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Rob Snowdon made a huge save. Eltham's Rob Snowdon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Eltham from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Eltham getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Frazer Cartwright hit a great ball. Rob Snowdon made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Caleb Middleton sent off a good shot on target. Sly Dixon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Rob Snowdon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Casey Holmes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Rob Snowdon managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when Helsby's Caleb Middleton fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Caleb Middletons short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Rob Snowdon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Eltham fans cheered their team off the field, for while Helsby had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
