Spectators: 5002 (Terracing: 4001, Seating: 1001, VIP seats: 0) Lennie Woodman started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience was convinced that Wayne Shipton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Al Prutton was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, power rangers's Christopher Courtney got a free kick in the 12th minute. 15 minutes into the match, power rangers's goalkeeper Al Prutton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Al Green. Jo Bloom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lennie Woodman in the 19th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Basil Fry hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Joel Mayfield took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Al Prutton to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Wayne Shipton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alne AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Wayne Shipton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Al Prutton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, power rangers's John-Paul Anson got a free kick in the 29th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patrick Emmerson during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of power rangers booed when Alne AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrick Emmerson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robbie Partridge kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Alne AFC's Jo Bloom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lennie Woodman in the 38th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Wayne Shipton kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Al Prutton. That made the score 3-0 in the 40 minute of play. In the 46th minute, Joel Mayfield got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Al Prutton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Al Green, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wayne Shipton to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Johnathon Crawshaw mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alne AFC and the power rangers players grew even worse after the yellow card. 55 minutes into the match, power rangers's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Mayfield came free, but Al Prutton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Alne AFC booed when power rangers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathon Younger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jo Bloom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lennie Woodman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Wayne Shipton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Al Green came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Alne AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Al Green couldn't finish the play. Wayne Shipton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Al Prutton having to interfere. Al Green received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Al Prutton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Franz Billing received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Al Prutton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Philip Greenman's late challenge caught a Alne AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 78th minute there was a penalty for Alne AFC. Wayne Shipton stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Al Prutton. 4-1. In the 83rdth minute of the game Franz Billing who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but power rangers's Al Prutton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wayne Shipton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in power rangers's zone, Wayne Shipton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Al Prutton came out of the goal and Wayne Shipton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christopher Courtney hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Alne AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wayne Shipton in the 94th minute. After 97 played minutes Alne AFC got a freekick which was hit by Al Green. Basil Fry's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jo Bloom firmly grabbed it by the left post.
