Travis Ashton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Caleb Middleton in the 15th minute. FC ALBIN's Travis Ashton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sly Dixon in the 16th minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jo Albright stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jo Albright sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute Caleb Middleton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Travis Ashton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Travis Ashton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caleb Middleton in the 62nd minute of play. After 63 played minutes FC ALBIN got a freekick which was hit by Eric Smith. Travis Ashton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sly Dixon, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Travis Ashton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 88 minutes into the game, Helsby's Sly Dixon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Travis Ashton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Sid Walton struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Sacha Dlyan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC ALBIN. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC ALBIN players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Helsby.
