The Stroud United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chesney Towler should have stopped the shot. Olly Everett received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Chesney Towler came out and tried to block the shot, but Olly Everett slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 60th minute. Chesney Towler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olly Everett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chesney Towler came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Leicester's Toby Byfield. But to his dismay, Toby Byfield quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Rio Shakespeare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stroud United's Chesney Towler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Stroud United from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olly Everett in the 84th minute of play forced Stroud United's goalkeeper Chesney Towler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chesney Towler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olly Everett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
