After a defensive mix-up in Walsall's zone, William Bennet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frankie Fleetwood came out of the goal and William Bennet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. William Bennet was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Jonathon Askew notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Walsall's Frankie Fleetwood. Frankie Fleetwood was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 54 played minutes Alcester FC got a freekick which was hit by Graeme Thornton. If Howard Alsford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. Alcester FC's William Bennet got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 74 minutes into the match, Alcester FC's goal looked a bit too open when Perry Bowden came free, but Andre Mansell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andre Mansell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Howard Alsford in the 75th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Walsall's zone, William Bennet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frankie Fleetwood came out of the goal and William Bennet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Jonathon Askew had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Howard Alsford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andre Mansell having to interfere. When Shawn Jordan, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 85 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Frankie Fleetwood was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Matthew Knott kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 88th match minute, Walsall was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stuart Welsh to maneuver through the defense. After 90 played minutes Walsall got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Goldthorpe. 91 minutes into the game, Jonathon Askew cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Frankie Fleetwood was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
