Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Kirk Jowsey made the kick off and thus started the match. Kirk Jowsey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Francis Coombe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kirk Jowsey in the 9th minute of play. After 16 played minutes Arsenal got a freekick which was hit by Teddy Gamble. If Olly Everett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 25 minutes, Trev Buckler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arsenal and the Leicester players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 25th match minute, Arsenal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trev Buckler to maneuver through the defense. Austin Toovey made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Toby Byfield sent off a good shot on target. Francis Coombe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kirk Jowsey, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The wind increased when Olly Everett made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Arsenal getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Sol Thackray hit a great ball. Toby Byfield scored 1-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Austin Toovey, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Ollie Smikle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francis Coombe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kirk Jowsey, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. The audience was convinced that Olly Everett's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Austin Toovey was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Olly Everett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Arsenal getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Syd Meadowcroft hit a great ball. Arsenal's Austin Toovey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toby Byfield in the 75th minute of play. Toby Byfield fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Austin Toovey having to interfere. Leicester's Toby Byfield got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 92nd minute there was a penalty for Arsenal. Will Wardill stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Francis Coombe. 1-1. 97 minutes into the match, Ollie Smikle notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Leicester's Francis Coombe. Francis Coombe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Leicester supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Arsenal's performance. The match ended with a win for Arsenal.
