Spectators: 6000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when William Bennet made the kick off which started today's match. Eddie Hassell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Bennet in the 3rd minute of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Alcester FC's William Bennet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eddie Hassell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Andre Mansell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carl Haylock in the 7th minute of play. After some careless play in the Alcester FC defense, Frazer Hassell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andre Mansell. The Alcester FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andre Mansell should have stopped the shot. William Bennet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddie Hassell having to interfere. In the 15th minute, William Bennet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Alcester FC's goal looked a bit too open when Frazer Hassell came free, but Andre Mansell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andre Mansell made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Frazer Hassell sent off a good shot on target. Eddie Hassell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Bennet, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. If Jonathon Askew had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexander Beattie charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexander Beattie the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 38th minute of the game. One of Wolf City:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Alcester FC:s goal. In the 40th minute there was a penalty for Alcester FC. Glyn Whitehead stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Eddie Hassell. 1-1. William Bennet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carl Haylock stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonathon Askew got free with Eddie Hassell in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 63rd minute, Carl Haylock got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alcester FC's Jonathon Askew got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. William Bennet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddie Hassell having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Bennet in the 68th minute of play forced Wolf City's goalkeeper Eddie Hassell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Wolf City's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Glyn Whitehead was slow to take the kick. During this time Alcester FC's players had a chance to rest. After having played for 70 minutes, William Bennet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alcester FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but William Bennet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wolf City's Eddie Hassell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Wolf City from getting a goal against them. Eddie Hassell was a little too slow when William Bennet got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 1-3. If Carl Haylock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute Carl Haylock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andre Mansell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st match minute, Alcester FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shawn Jordan to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute, Colin Dixon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 83 played minutes Sol Ashby shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Alcester FC's Andre Mansell to catch but Sol Ashby was lucky. It became 2-3 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. If Jonathon Askew had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th match minute, Alcester FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shawn Jordan to maneuver through the defense. Wolf City's Frazer Hassell got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathon Askew could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Eddie Hassell made a huge save. Alcester FC played a much better game than Wolf City and deserved their victory. The Wolf City players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
