Whitechapel's supporters rose to their feet, but Junior Davenport was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anthony Cain breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anthony Cain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gez Stockdale in the 15th minute of play. Michael Ramsden was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but John Fitzsymon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. If Malcolm Nottingham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michael Ramsden made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Malcolm Nottingham sent off a good shot on target. Michael Ramsden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Malcolm Nottingham in the 44th minute of play. If Gez Stockdale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

55 minutes into the game, Malcolm Nottingham cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Michael Ramsden was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 59th minute, Bruce Beadle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 67th minute, Ashley Clay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute, Timothy Ellershaw hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the match, Malcolm Nottingham had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michael Ramsden. Whitechapel's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Malcolm Nottingham was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After a rather tough play, misfits fc's Callum Sharples got a free kick in the 83rd minute. 93 minutes into the match, misfits fc's goalkeeper Anthony Cain had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gez Stockdale. The misfits fc players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
