In the 22nd minute, Vic Rundell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lance Coe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stewart Giles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liam Blakewell in the 41st minute of the match. Vic Rundell hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Baltic Pearl FC's Stewart Giles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liam Blakewell in the 44th minute of play. Clive Ellerby was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 45th minute. Birmingham yyw's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Liam Blakewell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Liam Blakewell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lance Coe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th match minute, Baltic Pearl FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tyler Fearns to maneuver through the defense. Stewart Giles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clive Ellerby in the 60th minute of play. Tyler Fearns kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. When Clive Ellerby came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Birmingham yyw fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clive Ellerby couldn't finish the play. Liam Blakewell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stewart Giles having to interfere. Tommy Jennings sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 86 played minutes Tommy Jennings rounded Birmingham yyw's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. Birmingham yyw's Stan Lansdell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommy Jennings in the 93rd minute of play. In the 96th minute, Clive Ellerby made a precise shot to the right of Stewart Giles. Baltic Pearl FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1.
