Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tommy Jennings started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 6 played minutes Bowburn got a freekick which was hit by Craig Bull. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ted Dudgeon in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stewart Giles saved Baltic Pearl FC from getting behind. Baltic Pearl FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Ricky Baird scored to the left of an out of position Stewart Giles, making the score, 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ricky Baird during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ricky Baird hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the match, Baltic Pearl FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ricky Baird came free, but Stewart Giles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Alan Mansfield kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stewart Giles. That made the score 2-0 in the 29 minute of play. If Ted Dudgeon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricky Baird fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stewart Giles having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ted Dudgeon made a kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Ricky Baird cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Stewart Giles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Bowburn's Ted Dudgeon in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Ricky Baird came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Bowburn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricky Baird couldn't finish the play. Ricky Baird received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Stewart Giles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Jennings in the 78th minute of play forced Bowburn's goalkeeper Ty Cusack to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ted Dudgeon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baltic Pearl FC's Stewart Giles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricky Baird in the 82nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Bowburn's zone, Tommy Jennings stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ty Cusack came out of the goal and Tommy Jennings tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baltic Pearl FC's Tommy Jennings was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 88th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 91 minutes, Ted Dudgeon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bowburn and the Baltic Pearl FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Bowburn getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Ted Dudgeon hit a great ball. 92 minutes into the game, Lewis Keane was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Baltic Pearl FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bowburn the free kick. A collision led to Baltic Pearl FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Lewis Keane hit a great ball. After 94th play minutes Ricky Baird shot 4-1, a short shot which went by Stewart Giles and just under the crossbar into goal.
