Jake Booth kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Ivan Tonkin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Orson Albright tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Orson Albright managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Werrington's Ivan Tonkin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ivan Tonkin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Ronan Almond's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nathanial Cartwright was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Nathanial Cartwright showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronan Almond in the 35th minute of the match. After 44 played minutes, Kanarki FC's Freddie Lappin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nathanial Cartwright came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kanarki FC reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Kanarki FC's zone, Timothy Nelthorpe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orson Albright came out of the goal and Timothy Nelthorpe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ronan Almond to strike the kick off in the second half. Ivan Tonkin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Timothy Nelthorpe came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Werrington fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timothy Nelthorpe couldn't finish the play. Jake Booth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nathanial Cartwright having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Ivan Tonkin made a precise shot to the right of Orson Albright. Kanarki FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Ronan Almond might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nathanial Cartwright. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ronan Almond ran back to his position shaking his head. Orson Albright made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Tonkin in the 81st minute of play. If Ivan Tonkin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Ivan Tonkin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivan Tonkin in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Orson Albright prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Werrington's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
