Jake Booth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 49th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ted Dudgeon to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Kanarki FC's goalkeeper Orson Albright had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricky Baird. Kris Sutton took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ty Cusack. Bowburn's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Kanarki FC's Bradley Gerrard got a free kick in the 60th minute. Kanarki FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bowburn the free kick. The supporters of Bowburn booed when Kanarki FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bradley Gerrard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bowburn's Ricky Baird got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Bowburn's Ted Dudgeon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Orson Albright narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Jake Booth came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Kanarki FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jake Booth couldn't finish the play. If Seth Lineker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute Ted Dudgeon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orson Albright saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ted Dudgeon kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Bowburn's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
