Spectators: 6833 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Guy Rayner started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Guy Rayner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barnsley's supporters rose to their feet, but Guy Rayner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alistair Hughes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 12th minute of the match Nigel Mason sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alistair Hughes skillfully saved the ball. Alistair Hughes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dominic Bradley, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Stan Pickard who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Joe Dennison when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Vern Tisdale fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barnsley's protests and gave Vern Tisdale a yellow card for diving instead. Vern Tisdale kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Guy Rayner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Feltham FC's Stan Pickard sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joe Dennison narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Stan Pickard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Joe Dennison tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barnsley's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Shaun Johnson scored to the left of an out of position Joe Dennison, making the score, 1-1. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Feltham FC's goalkeeper Alistair Hughes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Theo Colton took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joe Dennison. Barnsley's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 45th minute, Shaun Johnson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

In the 54th minute, Reuben Hedley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alistair Hughes was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from George Stevens. Stan Pickard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joe Dennison having to interfere. Joe Dennison didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Feltham FC's Shaun Johnson shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Alistair Hughes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guy Rayner, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Barnsley's goal looked a bit too open when Shaun Johnson came free, but Joe Dennison reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dominic Bradley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guy Rayner in the 74th minute of play forced Feltham FC's goalkeeper Alistair Hughes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alistair Hughes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dominic Bradley in the 76th minute. Alistair Hughes came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Barnsley's Guy Rayner. But to his dismay, Guy Rayner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Guy Rayner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Guy Rayner's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alistair Hughes was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. If Stan Pickard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the game, Feltham FC's Shaun Johnson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joe Dennison made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Feltham FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Barnsley for a fine match.
