Taunton's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Alistair Hughes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nick Miller showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 14 minute of play. In the 18th minute, Eric Mitchell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alistair Hughes was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Niall Abbott. Adam Turner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Kurt Davis fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Feltham FC's protests and gave Kurt Davis a yellow card for diving instead. Adam Turner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alistair Hughes having to interfere. The penalty shot was made by Niall Abbott, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Feltham FC's Alistair Hughes. 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

After 54 minutes of play, Taunton's Matty Booker made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alistair Hughes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alistair Hughes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Turner, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Adam Turner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Alistair Hughes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Adam Turner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alistair Hughes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nick Miller's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. The supporters of Feltham FC booed when Taunton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremy Hutchings didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Shaun Johnson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alistair Hughes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adam Turner's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Taunton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adam Turner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alistair Hughes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Feltham FC's Stan Pickard got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Nick Miller managed to get in a good position for a shot. Taunton's supporters rose to their feet, but Nick Miller was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alistair Hughes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alistair Hughes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nick Miller's shot from short distance in the 94th minute.
