Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ozzy Harkness started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Glen Tomlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Glen Tomlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stewart Millman having to interfere. Ozzy Harkness kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. North Solihull FC's Kris Halliday couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 17th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Wadebridge. Glen Tomlin might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stewart Millman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Glen Tomlin ran back to his position shaking his head. Glen Tomlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stewart Millman having to interfere. After having played for 28 minutes, Glen Tomlin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. North Solihull FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Glen Tomlin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Glen Tomlin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Glen Tomlin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stewart Millman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in North Solihull FC's zone, Glyn Cooper stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sacha Chipperfield came out of the goal and Glyn Cooper tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ozzy Harkness had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stewart Millman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Glen Tomlin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 45 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Glen Tomlin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ozzy Harkness struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Sacha Chipperfield didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wadebridge. Ian Reeve hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. When Kris Halliday fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored North Solihull FC's protests and gave Kris Halliday a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to North Solihull FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Kris Halliday hit a great ball. Stewart Millman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Glen Tomlin in the 68th minute of the match. The supporters of North Solihull FC booed when Wadebridge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chip Bridgeworth didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Glen Tomlin notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Wadebridge's Stewart Millman. Stewart Millman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 78th minute, Glen Tomlin made a precise shot to the right of Stewart Millman. Wadebridge's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 83rdth minute of the game Ronan McDonald who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wadebridge's Stewart Millman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 86th minute Ronan McDonald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stewart Millman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Glen Tomlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the match, North Solihull FC's Glen Tomlin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stewart Millman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, Glen Tomlin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The North Solihull FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. North Solihull FC had won after a very even match.
