Connor Morrell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Phil Sadler, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Devils FC's Connor Morrell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Phil Sadler in the 8th minute of play. Kree City FC's Connor Pearson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mickey Harrison in the 12th minute of play. Gordon Nailor scored 1-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Connor Pearson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Phil Sadler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Connor Morrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Kree City FC's Connor Pearson got control of the ball when Mickey Harrison tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gordon Nailor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Sebastian Locke fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kree City FC's protests and gave Sebastian Locke a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th minute, Sebastian Locke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 31 minutes, Trevor Digby mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Devils FC and the Kree City FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Christopher Broadhead's late challenge caught a Kree City FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christopher Broadhead helped the player get up and apologised. After 32 played minutes Devils FC got a freekick which was hit by Christopher Broadhead. Phil Sadler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Connor Morrell having to interfere. Kree City FC's Connor Pearson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christopher Broadhead in the 38th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Phil Sadler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Connor Morrell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 48th minute Ivor Wild shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Connor Morrell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mickey Harrison to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Kree City FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Christian Edström hit a great ball. Kristian Downes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Phil Sadler struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Connor Morrell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kree City FC. Connor Morrell acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 65th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ivor Wild. With his leg Connor Morrell managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Kree City FC's Phil Sadler fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Samuel Harkin kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. A hard shot 76 in the game by Phil Sadler from a close distance when the talented Connor Morrell managed to make a qualified save. Devils FC's players were relieved. In the 78th minute Sebastian Locke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Connor Morrell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 79 minutes Devils FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Victor Moțoc who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Kree City FC's corner Victor Moțoc fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Connor Morrell quite easily take care of the ball. Mickey Harrison kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Connor Morrell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Phil Sadler in the 87th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Phil Sadler in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Connor Morrell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sebastian Locke hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match.
