The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Dean Middlewood managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deal's supporters rose to their feet, but Dean Middlewood was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chaz Hinchcliffe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Dean Middlewood's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chaz Hinchcliffe was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. In the 13th minute, Charles Naylor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. nafienaf's Chaz Hinchcliffe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dean Middlewood in the 19th minute of play. Paddy Knight-Percival was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 37 minutes into the game, Gus Golding lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Paddy Knight-Percival. Dom Brooke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Paddy Knight-Percival tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, nafienaf's Gus Golding sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paddy Knight-Percival narrowly saved just below the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Charles Naylor's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Chaz Hinchcliffe skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gus Golding sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dom Brooke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that nafienaf were the better team. nafienaf's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
