Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Charles Lambert kicked off to start the match. If Martin Wilberforce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 8 minutes into the match, Martin Wilberforce had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Connor Morrell. Devils FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martin Wilberforce was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 14th minute Mickey Harrison shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stan Mannell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martin Wilberforce in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Connor Morrell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 17th minute Martin Wilberforce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Connor Morrell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brendon Dunning during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Hemel Hempstead City getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Brendon Dunning hit a great ball. When Mickey Harrison came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Devils FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mickey Harrison couldn't finish the play. Connor Morrell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Lambert in the 22nd minute of play. Connor Morrell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charles Lambert, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute, Christopher Broadhead hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the match, Devils FC's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Wilberforce came free, but Connor Morrell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Trevor Digby hit a great ball. The Devils FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hemel Hempstead City were winning 0-2.

Fraser Parkin kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Connor Morrell acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 59th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Alfred Wright. If Charles Lambert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charles Lambert might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Connor Morrell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Charles Lambert ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Wilberforce got free with Connor Morrell in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 77th minute Mickey Harrison shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stan Mannell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gordon Nailor in the 79th minute of play forced Hemel Hempstead City's goalkeeper Stan Mannell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th match minute, Devils FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christopher Broadhead to maneuver through the defense. Martin Wilberforce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Connor Morrell having to interfere. Charles Lambert succeeded in the game's 88th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. Connor Morrell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Charles Lambert's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Mickey Harrison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felix Beard kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Hemel Hempstead City's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
