Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cody Duckworth made the kick off and thus started the match. 7 minutes into the match, Waterfoot's goal looked a bit too open when Cody Duckworth came free, but Lenny Bateman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes into the game, Cody Duckworth cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Lenny Bateman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zack Whitehead struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Lenny Bateman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Birches Head Potters. Cody Duckworth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Lenny Bateman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rupert Paley hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Lenny Bateman was a little too slow when Cody Duckworth got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 3-0. In the 41st minute, Piers Llewellyn sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Waterfoot's Lenny Bateman didn't even have to move. Zack Whitehead received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Lenny Bateman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th match minute, Waterfoot was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kieran Talbot to maneuver through the defense. Birches Head Potters's Zack Whitehead got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Lenny Bateman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harvey Foley, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. A collision led to Birches Head Potters getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Robert Elliot hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the match, Waterfoot's goal looked a bit too open when Harvey Foley came free, but Lenny Bateman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lenny Bateman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cody Duckworth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Birches Head Potters's Harvey Foley got a free kick in the 65th minute. With his leg Nathan Locke managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Waterfoot's Victor Tully fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Lenny Bateman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cody Duckworth in the 68th minute of play. If Zack Whitehead had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, Cody Duckworth had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lenny Bateman. Waterfoot's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cody Duckworth was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 81 minutes into the match, Waterfoot's goal looked a bit too open when Neil Mansell came free, but Lenny Bateman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd match minute, Waterfoot was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Whieldon to maneuver through the defense. In the 86thth minute of the game Cody Duckworth who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Waterfoot's Lenny Bateman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Neil Mansell charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Neil Mansell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lenny Bateman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cody Duckworth in the 90th minute of play. Cody Duckworth's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lenny Bateman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Cody Duckworth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lenny Bateman having to interfere. Zack Whitehead sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cody Duckworth's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lenny Bateman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. Birches Head Potters's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
