Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The Manchester Utd fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Manchester Utd's Seth Litchfield looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Don Portway had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ed Chadwick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damon Rouse in the 13th minute of play. Billie Skipton hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Don Portway received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Frank Bannatyne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26thth minute of the game Seth Litchfield who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Walton Warriors F.C's Frank Bannatyne was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Don Portway charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Don Portway the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Manchester Utd's Don Portway got a free kick in the 28th minute. Seth Litchfield sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Walton Warriors F.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Seth Litchfield scored to the left of an out of position Frank Bannatyne, making the score, 2-0. After 36 played minutes Walton Warriors F.C got a freekick which was hit by Damon Rouse. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Seth Litchfield in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frank Bannatyne prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 38th minute, Sid Beavan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute, Don Portway got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Seth Litchfield sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Denzil Higginson hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Ed Chadwick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damon Rouse in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Damon Rouse made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Don Portway shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Bannatyne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Seth Litchfield in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frank Bannatyne saved Walton Warriors F.C from getting behind. Don Portway sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 56 minutes into the game, Manchester Utd's Don Portway nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frank Bannatyne made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 64 minutes into the match, Walton Warriors F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Don Portway came free, but Frank Bannatyne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damon Rouse struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Ed Chadwick didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Walton Warriors F.C. Rich Oldroyd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Bannatyne having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Damon Rouse managed to get in a good position for a shot. Walton Warriors F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Damon Rouse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ed Chadwick breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Don Portway received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Frank Bannatyne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Seth Litchfield, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 79 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Frank Bannatyne was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Walton Warriors F.C's Frank Bannatyne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Don Portway in the 84th minute of play. Billie Skipton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damon Rouse in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Manchester Utd had won after a very even match.
