Martin Whitehead struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Gregory Archer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huntingdon. In the 11th minute Wesley Taggart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregory Archer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Drew Hanley ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gregory Archer was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The supporters of Tottenham booed when Huntingdon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Neil Foley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gregory Archer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wesley Taggart in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th match minute, Tottenham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dean Basham to maneuver through the defense. Drew Hanley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Gregory Archer made a huge save. In the 34th minute, Drew Hanley left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Huntingdon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. When Joel Millman fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Huntingdon's protests and gave Joel Millman a yellow card for diving instead. After 38 played minutes Huntingdon got a freekick which was hit by Joel Millman. In the 40th minute, Kasey Talbot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kasey Talbot struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Martyn Eglington didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tottenham. Martyn Eglington didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kasey Talbot went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kasey Talbot stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gregory Archer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wesley Taggart in the 53rd minute of play. A collision led to Tottenham getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Blair Wootton hit a great ball. Blair Wootton kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Martyn Eglington showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dean Basham, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Gregory Archer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Drew Hanley in the 65th minute of play. Dean Basham kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After 68 played minutes Huntingdon got a freekick which was hit by Joel Millman. After 76 minutes, Dean Basham mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tottenham and the Huntingdon players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gregory Archer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wesley Taggart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kasey Talbot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martyn Eglington having to interfere. Dean Basham's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Martyn Eglington skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Huntingdon had won after a very even match.
