In the 18th minute, Christopher Toovey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the match, Stalowe United's goal looked a bit too open when Denzil Higginson came free, but Aaron Lawless reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th match minute, Manchester Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denzil Higginson to maneuver through the defense. If Craig Rundle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Craig Rundle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Don Portway could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Aaron Lawless made a huge save. Seth Litchfield received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Aaron Lawless tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute of the match Vance White shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aaron Lawless showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Craig Rundle to strike the kick off in the second half. Aaron Lawless made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Don Portway in the 52nd minute of play. After having played for 57 minutes, Seth Litchfield managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manchester Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Seth Litchfield was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Calum Mullen charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Calum Mullen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 58th match minute, Stalowe United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calum Mullen to maneuver through the defense. Marcus Crawshaw took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aaron Lawless. Stalowe United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A beautiful save bye Stalowe United's goalie prevented a goal. Marcus Crawshaw struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Aaron Lawless didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manchester Utd. Aaron Lawless took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Don Portway, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Seth Litchfield took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aaron Lawless. Aaron Lawless dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. A collision led to Manchester Utd getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Don Portway hit a great ball. If Seth Litchfield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the match, Stalowe United's goal looked a bit too open when Seth Litchfield came free, but Aaron Lawless reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute, Ritchie Winstanley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute, Seth Litchfield made a precise shot to the right of Aaron Lawless. Stalowe United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Seth Litchfield got in the 92nd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Aaron Lawless handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Stalowe United's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
