Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the game, Trevor Brookman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Will Deacon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 6 minutes, William Deeney managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hurworth's supporters crossed their fingers, but William Deeney was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 10thth minute of the game Donny Farrell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Walton Warriors F.C's Frank Bannatyne was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 11 played minutes Walton Warriors F.C got a freekick which was hit by Sid Beavan. In the 17th minute, Donny Farrell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Deeney in the 20th minute of play forced Walton Warriors F.C's goalkeeper Frank Bannatyne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hurworth's William Deeney got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, Donny Farrell left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hurworth fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Frank Bannatyne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donny Farrell in the 27th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Walton Warriors F.C's Damon Rouse dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. If Damon Rouse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, Walton Warriors F.C's Damon Rouse sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Will Deacon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bobby Gower during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Hurworth's Bobby Gower got a free kick in the 46th minute. Greg Henry, 47 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Walton Warriors F.C's Frank Bannatyne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Deeney in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Hurworth's William Deeney dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Trevor Brookman hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, William Deeney dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Frank Bannatyne, 2-3. Billie Skipton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damon Rouse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Damon Rouse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Will Deacon having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Billie Skipton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Damon Rouse's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Will Deacon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Walton Warriors F.C's Trevor Brookman got his second yellow card of the match in the 94th minute. The referee ordered Trevor Brookman off the ground. A collision led to Walton Warriors F.C getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Trevor Brookman hit a great ball. In the 97th minute, Donny Farrell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chants of Hurworth echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Walton Warriors F.C had held the ball for most of the match.
