Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Joshua Sheppard started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the match, Appleshaw FC's goal looked a bit too open when Donald Goodfellow came free, but Dale Hough reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Lingdale Road FC's Joshua Sheppard in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Appleshaw FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 7 played minutes Lingdale Road FC got a freekick which was hit by Calvin Cusack. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joshua Sheppard in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dale Hough saved Appleshaw FC from getting behind. Vern Sands took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dale Hough. Dale Hough dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Mattias Bostock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Appleshaw FC's Dale Hough played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vern Sands in the 35th minute of play. Calvin Cusack hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Ryan Morrison showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Warren Golding, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Joshua Sheppard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Warren Golding struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Ryan Morrison didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Appleshaw FC. Donald Goodfellow kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Mattias Bostock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vern Sands received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Dale Hough tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vern Sands received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vern Sands couldn't finish the play. When Matthew Potter fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Appleshaw FC's protests and gave Matthew Potter a yellow card for diving instead. When Warren Golding came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Appleshaw FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Warren Golding couldn't finish the play. Vern Sands blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dale Hough having to make a save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Lingdale Road FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
