Martyn Kay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Freddy Fieldwick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Naylor in the 6th minute of the match. Isaac Naylor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Freddy Fieldwick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brad Barrow made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rod England in the 20th minute of play. Isaac Naylor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Freddy Fieldwick read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Gavin Grantham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brad Barrow having to interfere. When Sam Pallister fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tartiflet FC's protests and gave Sam Pallister a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Tartiflet FC's Sam Pallister got a free kick in the 44th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gavin Grantham to make the kick off. Isaac Naylor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Tartiflet FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Jeff Couch hit a great ball. If Isaac Naylor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martyn Kay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Freddy Fieldwick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Isaac Naylor managed to get in a good position for a shot. EmiratesFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaac Naylor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Freddy Fieldwick breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 65 minutes into the match, Tartiflet FC's goal looked a bit too open when Martyn Kay came free, but Freddy Fieldwick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martyn Kay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th minute, Isaac Naylor made a precise shot to the right of Freddy Fieldwick. Tartiflet FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martyn Kay in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Freddy Fieldwick prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tartiflet FC's Freddy Fieldwick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martyn Kay in the 79th minute of play. After 81 played minutes Tartiflet FC got a freekick which was hit by Ged Astridge. In the 82nd minute Martyn Kay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Fieldwick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rod England's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brad Barrow read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th match minute, EmiratesFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barrie Wardell to maneuver through the defense. EmiratesFC's Brad Barrow played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavin Grantham in the 89th minute of play. The supporters of EmiratesFC booed when Tartiflet FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sam Pallister didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute of the match Shane Stockdale shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Freddy Fieldwick showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 94th match minute, Tartiflet FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremy Lynam to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Tartiflet FC's zone, Barrie Wardell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freddy Fieldwick came out of the goal and Barrie Wardell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Freddy Fieldwick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Naylor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
