Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ged Shephard made the kick off which started today's match. Lewis Dixon kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. In the 5th minute Nial Bullard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Fieldwick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Glenn Hassell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rod England, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Ged Shephard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gavin Grantham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Glenn Hassell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th match minute, Tartiflet FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavin Grantham to maneuver through the defense. Jeff Couch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Glenn Hassell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute of the match Tartiflet FC got a corner. Bristol United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Keiran Burgess ran over to the corner to take the kick. Keiran Burgess made a great header on Tartiflet FC's corner, it was just that Bristol United's Glenn Hassell managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 23rd match minute, Bristol United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fraser Westlake to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Tartiflet FC's Freddy Fieldwick got control of the ball when Lewis Dixon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sam Pallister kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 46th minute of the match Fraser Westlake sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Freddy Fieldwick skillfully saved the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gavin Grantham to strike the kick off in the second half. If Lewis Dixon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 59 played minutes Tartiflet FC got a freekick which was hit by Sam Pallister. 64 minutes into the match, Tartiflet FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ged Shephard came free, but Freddy Fieldwick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeff Couch's late challenge caught a Bristol United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeff Couch helped the player get up and apologised. Jeff Couch kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Ged Shephard left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bristol United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. If Ged Shephard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. During the 75th minute of the match Jeff Couch completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jeff Couch a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Jeff Couch hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ged Shephard in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Freddy Fieldwick saved Tartiflet FC from getting behind. When Ged Shephard came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Bristol United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ged Shephard couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lewis Dixon in the 91st minute of play forced Tartiflet FC's goalkeeper Freddy Fieldwick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Freddy Fieldwick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ged Shephard in the 94th minute of the match.
