The Dayco Fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zak Porter should have stopped the shot. Richie Salmon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th minute, Dominik Ainsworth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tris Baxter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but John Manson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Dayco Fc's zone, Thomas Lemerond stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zak Porter came out of the goal and Thomas Lemerond tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thomas Lemerond in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zak Porter saved Dayco Fc from getting behind. After 43 minutes of play, South Ockendon's Chip Ealham made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zak Porter was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dayco Fc's Zak Porter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chip Ealham in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chip Ealham made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Dayco Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Chip Ealham came free, but Zak Porter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dominik Ainsworth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zak Porter having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Dayco Fc's goalkeeper Zak Porter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thomas Lemerond. 59 minutes into the match, Dayco Fc's goalkeeper Zak Porter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chip Ealham. If Tris Baxter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 75 minutes, Grant Woodhall mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the South Ockendon and the Dayco Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. Grant Woodhall kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Dayco Fc's Tris Baxter got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chip Ealham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The corner ended in Gerry Eagles almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Dayco Fc's Zak Porter did a great save. If Thomas Lemerond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. South Ockendon's Thomas Lemerond was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 91st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal.
