Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) 4 minutes into the match, Seaton AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Nath Gildea came free, but Harry Maclean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blair Howarth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Harry Maclean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Matt Hodgson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seaton AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Matt Hodgson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Micheal Hurst breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 11 minutes into the match, Matt Hodgson notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Blackpool United's Micheal Hurst. Micheal Hurst was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 16 minutes into the match, Seaton AFC's Matt Hodgson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Micheal Hurst narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 17 minutes into the match, Blackpool United's goal looked a bit too open when Matt Hodgson came free, but Micheal Hurst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nath Gildea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harry Maclean having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nath Gildea in the 24th minute of play forced Seaton AFC's goalkeeper Harry Maclean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Micheal Hurst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Rothery in the 27th minute of play. Harry Maclean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nath Gildea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Rothery in the 30th minute of play forced Blackpool United's goalkeeper Micheal Hurst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harry Maclean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nath Gildea in the 33rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nath Gildea in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Harry Maclean saved Seaton AFC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Blackpool United's zone, Matt Hodgson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Micheal Hurst came out of the goal and Matt Hodgson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tod Garner charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tod Garner the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd match minute, Blackpool United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tod Garner to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
In the 52nd minute, Nath Gildea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 57 played minutes Blackpool United got a freekick which was hit by Kasey Brimble. After 67 minutes, Lee Lappin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Seaton AFC and the Blackpool United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th minute there was a penalty for Blackpool United. Philip Askew stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Harry Maclean. 1-1. After a rather tough play, Blackpool United's Charlie Frost got a free kick in the 71st minute. After some careless play in the Seaton AFC defense, Nath Gildea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Harry Maclean. The Seaton AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Harry Maclean should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Blackpool United's Philip Askew got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 85 minutes in the game, Abraham Rothery dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Rothery in the 91st minute of play forced Blackpool United's goalkeeper Micheal Hurst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harry Maclean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nath Gildea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 99 minutes into the match, Nath Gildea notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Seaton AFC's Harry Maclean. Harry Maclean was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Seaton AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
